WIN: WHATS IMPORTANT NOW?! On a day to day basis, we get lost in our "to do lists" even when we try to prioritize. My goal is to maximize my day to make the most money in my job, while helping clients and providing quality work.

I always have my top 10 priorities that has to be accomplished, and it never fails that something else presents itself as more important, like my laundry if I'm working from home!

So, I consistantly ask myself, What's important now? It helps me to keep everything in perspective and at the end of the day, I know I have done my best to achieve my desire to exceed my sales quota.

Its 100% effective because it keeps me focused on "Whats Important Now" WIN can be used for any situation to achieve your goals, whether its work, personal or a combination of both!!

Lynette La Mere, founder of Pure Joy Catering, dreamed up a great idea to display 10 years worth of 'thank you' notes from happy clients. Instead of filing them away, she wallpapers the company restroom with them!
Clients love it and it's a great conversation starter when new clients visit her office in Santa Barbara.

LaMere, a stay-at-home mom for 10 years, was working for another caterer when a family emergency forced him to close the business. "I didn't know what to do," she said. "I didn't have a job."

So, she decided to go out on her own. Today, Pure Joy Catering has seven full-time employees and 300 part-timers on call. Every year, they cater 200 weddings and special events in Central California.

"I'm constantly reading and testing recipes at home," said LaMere. Her advice for you: "Have an amazing passion and endless enthusiasm for your business."
